The Höfer Group
Our corporate philosophy
Established in 1932 and now in its third generation, our family-owned company has seen constant growth since the beginning. This means we have decades of experience. Our goal is to preserve what has stood the test of time, without losing sight of new developments and the innovations that accompany them.
In going about projects, our policy is to find individualized solutions to address the individual requirements of our customers: for our customers take front and center stage. We also have a strong sense of responsibility for our employees and the environment – also when selecting our equipment and products.
Our employees are our most valuable asset
We invest in the future
We perceive qualifying and motivating our employees to be an excellent investment in the future: That’s why we also offer them continuing professional development opportunities enabling them to further develop their expertise and skills. We also train the next generation of industrial managers and design engineers at our three locations. For the past 30 years we have also offered a company retirement plan. We take pride in celebrating with our employees on achieving their 10th, 20th, 30th or even 40th anniversary with us.
Business relationships based on trust
We also set store by building long-term relationships with our customers and suppliers. Because we know: only reliable relationships based on partnership endure in the long run. Consequently the goal of our day-to-day efforts is to achieve the best possible results. Our customers treasure this attitude, which is reflected in our adherence to schedules, promptness, flexibility and reliability.
And achieving this is possible because we are one-stop solution specialists: from the technical consultation stage and the selection of surface finishing options through to the right packing and logistics arrangements. Our truck fleet offers an additional range of services.
Commitment to charitable projects
We believe in making a positive contribution to society. That’s why we support events like “Sport verbindet”, which is organized by the Urmitz sports club and has taken place every spring since 2009.
Athletes with intellectual disabilities and athletes without any disabilities play football or table tennis together or engage in track and field or judo. The SV Urmitz sports association collaborates with Special Olympics Rhineland-Palatinate and with Behinderten- und Rehabilitationssport-Verband Rheinland-Pfalz e.V., an organization based in Rhineland-Palatinate that engages in sports for people with disabilities and in rehabilitation sports.
Young talent wanted!
We’re looking for trainees again this year
We’re looking for goal-oriented, motivated trainees at all of our sites. In exchange we offer a training program that is comprehensive and full of variety in a family-run company. We’d also like to hear from those who are interested in an internship so they can get an idea of what a training program offers and the various areas a career path covers.
